Responsibilities
Manage all general ledger functions including payables, receivables, fixed assets, and banking
Lead the month end close process to ensure accurate reconciliations and financial integrity
Establish standardized close schedules and review procedures to maintain audit ready accounts in adherence to GAAP
Oversee the external audit process and coordinate with outside CPA firms for tax requests and filings
Drive ERP system implementations and automate financial close activities to support multiple platforms
Maintain inventory management controls and purchasing oversight to support operational scaling and cost savings
Partner with the CFO to hire, mentor, and develop the accounting team as the business grows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Strong expertise in GAAP, entity consolidation, and inventory control
Proficiency in ERP systems with a track record of supporting system implementations
Preferred
