Senior LevelScalence L.L.C. is seeking Senior Security Engineers to support high-visibility initiatives tied to the Discover acquisition and merger. These engineers will contribute to both strategic project execution and daily identity/security operations, focusing on Active Directory and identity security in enterprise cloud environments.

Responsibilities
Design, manage, and secure Active Directory and Domain Services for large-scale enterprise environments
Execute automated domain controller rebuilds (“Rehydration”) using CI/CD pipelines
Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for identity and infrastructure operations
Apply identity security best practices, aligned with governance frameworks (NIST, compliance controls)
Build advanced Splunk queries, dashboards, alerts, and investigations
Utilize New Relic for observability across services and identity platforms
Identify monitoring gaps and improve real-time operational visibility and reliability
Support identity services and domain controllers hosted in AWS
Partner with engineering and cloud teams to enhance identity infrastructure and architecture
Apply DevOps and CI/CD best practices using Git-based workflows
Participate in Agile Scrum teams operating in 2-week sprint cycles
Manage project tasks and documentation via JIRA and Confluence
Handle operational requests through ServiceNow
Participate in on-call rotation (~once every 2 months for 1 week, low-volume)
Qualification
Required
Expertise with Active Directory Domain Services (architecture, replication, GPs, security)
Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and operations
Strong background in identity security, governance, and compliance (NIST aligned)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and Git workflows
Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational experience in large-scale environments
Agile/Scrum working experience
Preferred
Advanced experience with Splunk (querying, dashboarding, alerting)
Experience with New Relic for observability
AWS cloud experience supporting identity services
DevOps principles and infrastructure delivery
Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence)
ServiceNow ticketing and workflow operations
