Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality plans for new and existing products, processes, and equipment
Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement
Lead and manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and improve processes
Develop and deliver quality training programs to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
Stay informed about industry quality standards, regulations, and best practices
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment
Performs other duties within scope as assigned

Required

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field of study
Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality assurance or quality control
Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position

Preferred

Ability to accurately differentiate and assess color variations
Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret intricate engineering drawings and specifications using geometric tolerancing
Competence in math, including geometry and trigonometry
Demonstrated ability to use and program metrology equipment, such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), utilizing advanced set-up methods
CQE or ASQ certification
Experience using problem-solving methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 5 Whys)
Familiarity with PPAP processes
