As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of engineers, drive product roadmap execution, and ensure the highest standards of system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Drive Roadmap Execution: Partner with Product on roadmap execution. Make explicit calls on scope, technical debt, and quality bars. Communicate technical constraints to stakeholders
Architect for Scale: Guide architectural decisions for scalable, available web applications. Ensure designs support business growth and data accuracy while maintaining system performance and reliability
Manage Technical Debt: Identify and prioritize technical debt across the codebase. Drive systematic remediation and communicate impact to Product and leadership
Ensure Operational Excellence: Monitor system performance, lead incident response, and act as escalation point for production issues. Drive post-mortems and improvements that prevent recurring problems
Raise Engineering Standards: Establish team practices in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation. Mentor engineers and raise the quality bar over time
Drive team growth through regular 1:1s, career development plans, and technical up-skilling
Act as a multiplier for your team by eliminating roadblocks and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture
Collaborate with Product, Data, and Compliance to define and scope projects that align with long-term business goals
Lead the hiring and onboarding of new engineering talent, ensuring alignment with Findigs’ values and technical standards

Required

8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years in a formal management or technical leadership role
Deep knowledge of technical architecture and system design, with hands-on experience in modern web applications
A proven track record of managing product roadmaps and delivering reliable, customer-facing solutions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and lead with empathy
The ability to lead independently while staying aligned with company objectives and the vision of the Head of Engineering

Preferred

Experience in PropTech, FinTech, or high-growth startups
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and modern DevOps practices
