Responsibilities
Excellence Everyday Manners
Directs patient/family and physicians concerns to the appropriate person
Answers department phones in a timely manner, using Sibley’s Circle of Excellence behavior (identifying self, smile behind voice, etc.) and clearly relays messages
Serves as the unit point-of-contact for staff, physicians, students, patients, and visitors
Keeps all members of the healthcare team informed of any changes in patient schedules or unit activity
Calls the appropriate emergency response teams such as Code Blue
Willingly floats and accepts assignments related to patient care
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or equivalent of education and experience
Intermediate typing/computer skills
Current CPR Training
