Responsibilities
Proactively resolves workplace conflicts and co-worker grievances
Manages co-worker relations cases and promotes a positive work environment
Ensures compliance with employment laws and Parkview policies
Leads investigations of claims of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and policy violations, including responding to EEOC charges
Provides advice to leaders on corrective actions, ensuring they are handled legally, ethically and consistent with similar situations in applying policies and procedures
Designs and implements training, education, performance improvement plans and terminations, providing guidance and support to leaders
Proposes solutions, and creates or recommends Standard Operating Procedures
Leads or coordinates HR projects that benefit the team or organization
Builds strong relationships with assigned leaders for guidance and partnership
Identifies education needs to develop and present training content
Offers support for leadership development and serves as the main point of contact for both co-workers and leaders, answering questions, listening to concerns, and providing guidance for next steps
Partners with all areas of the HR Division to ensure exceptional service for both co-workers and leaders
Ensures Parkview meets state and federal compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Must have Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, case management, training, investigations, onboarding and offboarding
Requires knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and workplace regulatory frameworks (e.g., Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, FCRA, etc.) as well as Parkview's procedures for Worker's Compensation claims and return-to-work following a leave of absence
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgment
High degree of computer literacy and skill
