Responsibilities
Receive and manage equipment deliveries, ensuring proper configuration of server cabinets
Perform racking and cabling of devices, ensuring all connections are secure and functional
Conduct cable testing and troubleshoot any hardware or cabling issues that arise
Maintain accurate inventory and interface documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis
Proven experience in data center operations
Ability to operate and install computing equipment related to infrastructure and applications, including servers, storage, network, and telecommunications
Strong familiarity with infrastructure cabling concepts and the ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Capability to assist with shipping, receiving, and distribution of equipment and hardware
Experience in leading a team or managing projects within a data center environment
Certifications related to data center operations, networking, or related fields
Experience with inventory management and documentation processes
