Year Round Intern - Supply Chain

Responsibilities

Learn and perform core department business group work tasks, processes, and customer services
Analyze data, address customer inquiries, and collaborate with external stakeholders
Offer operational support for department business group managers
Develop and execute project action plans and perform team assignments
Build and strengthen a network of professional contacts within departments and across the company
Assist with project management for various company initiatives and complete administrative tasks and special projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must be a full-time student
College credits equivalent to one year toward an undergraduate degree with preference for Supply Chain Management, Logistics / Transportation, or other business-related degrees
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Basic organization, prioritization and time/project management skills
Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills
Solid understanding of basic Supply Chain concepts and processes

Preferred

GPA of 3.0 or higher
Intermediate computer skills and able to learn UP's Accounting systems and databases to successfully accomplish desired project results
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
