Responsibilities
Oversee and guide the design, development, and deployment of software solutions
Manage a team of engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development support
Review and validate designs, code, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
Ensure adherence to SDLC/SSDLC principles, secure coding standards, and architectural guidelines
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives and manage dependencies
Drive improvements in engineering practices, automation, testing, and delivery pipelines
Support change management by enabling stakeholders to adopt new solutions and processes
Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges or stakeholder needs
Contribute to departmental planning and cross-functional initiatives
Qualification
Required
C#, .Net, Azure, Azure architecture understanding nice to have, .Net and azure certs a plus
5–7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architectural capacity
Experience managing teams and delivering solutions in complex or regulated environments
Strong expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Proficiency with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API design/integration
Experience with cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, automated testing)
Strong understanding of architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems)
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Any prior experience working for Big 4 is preferred
Any experience working on Tax platforms is highly preferred
Professional certifications in cloud or software development (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) preferred
