Expeditor - Scheduler

The Expeditor – Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and prioritizing production workloads to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction, serving as a key liaison between various teams.

Responsibilities

Schedule and manage production workloads within the system
Support production planning activities to meet customer delivery requirements
Maintain accurate data in ERP systems and spreadsheets
Process and review production operation reports as needed
Provide expediting support between Internal Operations and Production/Shipping/Warehouse teams
Ensure all Same Day and Urgent Customer Requests are prioritized and expedited through the system
Manage order updates requiring production order label changes
Follow up on order status updates to ensure timely progression
Assist Internal Operations with product decorating and production-related questions
Locate, review, and understand all pertinent work order details, including:
Communicate proactively with customers when orders do not ship as requested
Maintain a strong understanding of workflow from Internal Operations through Production, Packing, and Shipping
Communicate critical information to Supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure job quality and on-time delivery
Support other departments or perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required
English required; bilingual skills preferred
1–3 years of experience in production scheduling, expediting, manufacturing operations, logistics, or a fast-paced operations environment
Computer proficient with experience entering, updating, and validating data in ERP or order management systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
Basic understanding of production or warehouse workflows (order release, production, packing, shipping)
Experience working with deadlines and time-sensitive orders, including same-day or urgent requests
Ability to interpret work orders, production reports, and order statuses
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Customer-service-oriented mindset with strong follow-up skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to positively interact with multiple departments across the organization
