Responsibilities

Direct facility updates, remodels, and new construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and inventory tracking systems
Lead and develop a high-performing facilities team through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
Align departmental objectives with organizational strategy and performance excellence initiatives
Oversee space planning, layout coordination, and facilities expansion projects
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture
Respond to facility emergencies and take appropriate corrective actions
Build and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements
Monitor departmental budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization
Lead workplace safety training, conduct facility inspections, and implement preventive maintenance schedules

Required

Three to Five years' experience in facilities management or related field
Must be able to maintain an NM Driver's License and clean driving background to operate company vehicles
A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program

Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) (Intermediate)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and occasionally crawl in confined spaces
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely operate hand and power tools
Manual dexterity is required to use computers and related equipment
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends
Frequent travel between branches
