They are seeking a mid-level Electrical Design Engineer to lead an electrical design team in designing electrical systems for new buildings and renovations within the higher education market.

Responsibilities
Lead an electrical design team through all phases of project delivery: field verification, design coordination, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration
Design electrical systems including: Medium voltage distribution, Power distribution, Lighting design and controls, and Fire alarm systems
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and sustainability goals
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Division of State Architecture (DSA) requirements
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred
Experience with Division of State Architecture (DSA) and municipal projects is preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software preferred
