Front Desk Receptionist

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients through expert cancer care. The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will manage daily office procedures, welcome patients, assist with scheduling, and maintain patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

Manage daily opening and closing procedures of the office
Welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a professional atmosphere
Assist with scheduling, appointment reminders, and co-pay collections
Build and maintain patient records in the EMR system
Assist with quality assurance surveys and prevention screenings
Protect patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Qualification

Customer serviceEMR systemHIPAA complianceBilingual (English/Spanish)Communication skills

Required

High School diploma with at least 1 year of experience
Excellent communication skills and customer service experience

Preferred

Bilingual in both English and Spanish
