Responsibilities
Direct projects by managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload, financial performance, and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization
Oversee and engage in the development of existing client relationships, including conducting periodic meetings, developing proposals and budgets, and gathering feedback with teammates
Prepare agreements and manage the creation and approval of construction plans, bid documents, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates
Analyze complex technical challenges and develop new or improved techniques, approaches, and alternative solutions
Promote career development, training and career path planning for all of your direct team members
Develop engineering plans and specifications in a team environment for a multitude of projects
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
8-11+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects preferred
PE licensure in NJ or ability to obtain within 6 months
Knowledge of NJ stormwater management required
Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management
Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specification, and engineering reports
Understanding of New Jersey market
Proficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, MS Office
Preferred
Experience with GIS Systems is a plus – GIS is one of the tools we use to create better projects
