STAFF ACCOUNTANT: INTERIOR DESIGN INDUSTRY (FULL TIME, IN-OFFICE)
Confidential is an accounting firm specializing in providing bookkeeping and financial management services to the interior design community. They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage client financials, handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and support project management within a specialized platform.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple client accounts
Code transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Communicate with clients professionally and proactively regarding questions, clarifications, and deadlines
Establishing trade accounts with vendor showrooms
Creating and managing proposals and client invoices
Ordering goods and tracking ETAs
Scheduling and coordinating deliveries to warehouses and white glove to residences
Qualification
Required
At least 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping and accounting experience
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple client accounts
Code transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Communicate with clients professionally and proactively regarding questions, clarifications, and deadlines
Preferred
Prior experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience with Studio Designer a plus but not required (training will be provided)
Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple clients and priorities
Effective written and verbal communication skills (client-facing role)
Competence in general office software
Strong Excel skills required
Comfortable with deadlines
