Senior Scheduler/Manager, Kiewit Water Facilities South 1
Kiewit is a leading contractor specializing in water and wastewater facilities. They are seeking a Senior Scheduler/Manager to lead scheduling activities on engineering and construction projects, directly impacting project outcomes and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities
Develop fully resource-loaded schedules including activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long-lead procurement items, and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the project
Develop and maintain schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations, available manpower, and resources based on industry and company standards
Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts (Time Impact Analysis) to identify and mitigate project risks and assist with change management procedures
Assist in the management of internal controls, including implementing new process controls, measuring project performance, reporting on project status, and ensuring the integrity and validity of internally and externally disseminated information
Gain and apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology to develop and maintain critical path logic networks and accumulate/access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems
Collaborate effectively with various project teams, field personnel, and clients to create accurate reports and achieve goals
Attend regular in-person meetings and give regular reporting as needed
Qualification
Required
Associates or Undergraduate Degree in engineering, construction management, data management, business, finance, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience working in engineering and construction scheduling, or another operations execution position within the construction industry
Expertise in building schedules via the use of project documents (drawings, specs, contracts)
Experience with Primavera (P6) scheduling
Ability to proactively collaborate with different project teams and personnel to gather data and meet project goals
Ability to work independently, utilizing project documents to create engineering, procurement, permitting, construction, and commissioning schedules with minimal guidance
Must be computer proficient and be able to adapt to new programs, innovations, and processes
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) software and processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to prepare and assist with the preparation of baseline narratives, monthly updates, and TIA's
Demonstrated strong work ethic, effective time management, strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
