Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design of modernized IT systems supporting SNAP/TANF
Oversee technical planning, system integration, and full SDLC execution
Ensure compliance with federal APD requirements and security standards
Coordinate development activities with internal teams and external vendors
Mentor Business Analysts and Developers; enforce architecture best practices
Analyze requirements, create user stories, workflows, and technical specifications
Support test case design, process change requests, and manage scope
Communicate effectively with SCDSS and State IT teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
8+ years of enterprise software architecture experience
8+ years of experience in project leadership
Must be a current South Carolina resident (No relocation)

Preferred

Familiarity with State/Federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, etc.)
Experience with Human Services systems (Child Welfare, SNAP, TANF)
Understanding of Data Privacy Laws (PII, PHI)
Previous experience supporting public sector agencies or government contracts
