Responsibilities
Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using internal systems, KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information
Processes raw data into understandable reporting using Excel & other tools
Performs rate analysis on new and existing contracts
Works with management to identify areas for improvement and potential solutions
Works closely with IT department for development of efficiencies through technology
Qualification
Required
4+ years as a Data Analyst or similar role within finance, accounting, etc
Advanced-expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
Advanced Excel skills to include the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data
Ability to lead discussions, make presentations and deliver results
Ability to work well under pressure in a challenging, changing, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, data science or equivalent
Previous experience in DME, Healthcare or Insurance industry
Working knowledge of the medical industry
Knowledge of fee schedules and cost of goods
