Responsibilities
Assist in technology audits by reviewing system configurations and security controls to ensure compliance with established frameworks and regulatory requirements
Participate in audit fieldwork by gathering data, conducting walkthroughs with management, documenting testing, and collaborating with team members to validate control effectiveness
Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and introduce automation for testing security controls through scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
Build and strengthen a network of professional contacts within departments and across the company
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
College credits equivalent to One year toward an undergraduate degree with a preference in MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Basic organization/prioritization skills and time/project management skills
Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
18 years of age or older
Preferred
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced computer skills and able to learn UP's systems and databases in order to successfully accomplish desired project results
