Responsibilities
Assist in resolving quality issues with direct communication with the QC department supplying pictures or issues seen in the field as needed
Process orders accurately and timely. Review each order with Production Control for the best available shipping date before booking an order
Revise quotations and/or drawings as necessary, review pricing to ensure the quote and purchase order is accurate
Assist the QC Department and manufacturing staff to resolve quality issues - supplying project numbers, pictures or issues in the field that are not up to customer standards
Assist complex customer needs and transition that need to a friendly manufacturing standard process. Help the customer with complicated layouts that the factory may not be able to manufacture to ensure the project stays a Kolpak order
Communicate required information effectively with external and internal contacts on shortages or order date move outs as necessary
Process orders accurately within assigned timelines
Originate or revise quotations and/or drawings to meet project needs
Work within a team structure to support a pre-determined territory and provide back up within the team. This may include any chain accounts established in that territory
Provide support role to Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Parts and Credit departments regarding customers business before and after the sale
Work with Product Design to best determine how to meet the project needs with reasonable equipment design and function through presentation drawings
Participate and contribute to cross-functional product and process development teams as required
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in business with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial foodservice industry; in lieu of education will consider 5 or more years in commercial foodservice industry
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must understand construction documents and specifications and possess basic math skills
Attention to detail a must
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Must be able to wear PPE as needed
