Responsibilities

Prepare engineering designs, calculations, plans, and specifications for civil and transportation infrastructure projects
Support roadway, drainage, site civil, and utility-related design efforts under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers
Coordinate with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and external stakeholders to support project delivery
Apply applicable state, federal, and local standards and design criteria to engineering work
Assist with plan production, technical reports, cost estimates, and permit documentation
Respond to review comments and support quality control and quality assurance processes
Provide limited construction-phase support, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings as needed
Participate in mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
Approximately 3–7 years of progressive civil or transportation engineering experience
Working knowledge of roadway, drainage, and site civil design principles
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred

Familiarity with public-sector project delivery and agency standards
