Responsibilities

Lead Archtop’s PR strategy in partnership with our agency — locally and within the fiber/broadband industry

Draft press releases, op-eds, executive communications, and talking points; manage media outreach and interview prep
Proactively surface compelling stories that reinforce Archtop’s brand differentiation, local investment, and customer value
Own the strategy and execution of local brand activations that drive awareness, advocacy, referrals, and subscriber growth
Lead and develop a team of Community Development Managers responsible for local events, sponsorships, and grassroots programs
Ensure local ownership at events, with a clear focus on revenue impact, lead generation, and conversion
Build and scale Brand Ambassador and referral programs that turn customers, employees, and partners into advocates
Expand relationships with civic, nonprofit, and social organizations to deepen community presence and credibility
Ensure consistent quality, brand alignment, and operational excellence across all local initiatives
Own performance metrics for local marketing investments, including event ROI, cost per lead, conversion, and subscriber impact
Partner with Sales to align field execution with goals and local opportunity
Continuously evaluate which programs, partnerships, and sponsorships drive the strongest return — and reallocate spend accordingly
Operate with a fiduciary mindset, treating local investments as revenue-driving assets, not just brand spend
Develop and manage the social content calendar with a strong emphasis on local relevance and conversion
Create and publish in-market content that highlights installs, construction progress, events, promotions, and community impact
Act as the “ears and eyes” of the brand in-market — monitoring sentiment, identifying issues, and escalating insights quickly
Track performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement, reach, and lead impact
Partner with Government Affairs to support communication strategies with policymakers, municipal leaders, and community stakeholders
Develop collateral, newsletters, and presentations that support advocacy, education, and local engagement
Align messaging across policy, civic engagement, and brand initiatives to ensure a unified and credible voice
Provide rapid-response communications support during key legislative, regulatory, or community moments
Serve as the local intelligence hub for brand perception, competitive activity, and market dynamics
