Associate Project Coordinator - Quantum
Pride Mobility Products Corporation is focused on engineering-based projects related to medical devices and is seeking an Associate Project Coordinator. Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with Quality, Production, and Engineering on identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects
Facilitate product transition from design to release into production
Oversee and participate in mechanical building and assembly of prototype products such as beta samples, show samples, and test samples when needed
Work with product managers on testing plan and execution
Collaborate with Product Managers, Manufacturing Engineering and production teams on initial design concepts to verify manufacturing needs
Collaborate with Product and Project Managers to execute Form Fit Function plan needed to ensure compatibility of new product designs and integration into Quantum products and manufacturing processes
Supply configuration rules and exclusions to the Bill of Materials (BOM) team to be used for Oracle that will properly validate the entry of sales orders into Pride’s systems
Complete continuous improvement Engineering Change Requests (ECR's) assigned on recently launched products
Facilitate productivity of multiple teams within Research & Development (R&D) such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, Test Lab and Machine Shop
Develop strong working relationships with all functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution
Develop familiarity with regulatory requirements to make compliance recommendations
Travel to domestic contract manufacturers as needed for product launches
Attend trade shows as needed
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Must be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
Must successfully coordinate, organize, plan, design and implement each stage of a project within specific time constraints with minimal direction
Must work as part of a multi-disciplined cross-functional team
Must travel domestically as needed
Must read and interpret mechanical drawings and instructions as required
Must use hand tools and standard power tools
Must prepare and present summary reports
Must have relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
Must have excellent time management skills
Must have excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
At least 5 years of proven experience successfully coordinating projects or tasks in a fast-paced office or manufacturing environment with minimal direction
High School Diploma or GED
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
Preferred
Basic working knowledge of Oracle and/or Agile preferred
Lift/push/pull 40 lbs. preferred
At least 3 years of project management experience successfully leading, managing, or coordinating projects or tasks from initiation through delivery inclusive of meeting the project requirements in terms of scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources in a fast-paced Research & Development or manufacturing environment preferred
At least 1 year of experience with the specific products preferred
Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
Associate's Degree in an Engineering, Business or Healthcare related field preferred
Project Management Professional certification preferred
