Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the MS in Biomedical Sciences program
Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum to ensure academic quality and compliance with accreditation standards
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate personnel associated with the program
Lead student recruitment, admissions, advising, and academic progression efforts
Promote faculty-student research and secure external funding to support program initiatives
Manage program operations, including course scheduling, assessment, and reporting
Represent the program within the University and to external partners in academia, government, and industry
Promote research opportunities and collaborations for students and faculty
Establish partnerships with biomedical industries, government agencies, and research institutions to enhance experiential learning and career pathways
Pursue external funding to support program development, research, and student support
Maintain compliance with university, state, and accrediting body requirements
Build partnerships with medical, graduate, and other professional schools for student placement
Qualification
Required
An earned doctorate (Ph.D., M.D., D.V.M., Dr.P.H., or equivalent) in a biomedical science or closely related field
A minimum of three years of experience in graduate-level teaching, research, and academic administration
A record of scholarly achievement and demonstrated program or institutional leadership
