They are seeking a motivated IT Network Intern to support network and infrastructure initiatives, assisting with maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network systems while gaining hands-on experience in enterprise networking operations.

Responsibilities
Assist with the administration and monitoring of network access control, networking equipment, and security systems (firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, Wi‑Fi)
Support troubleshooting of network, system, and application issues, escalating to SMEs when appropriate
Assist with vendor and telecom coordination for network maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution
Help install, configure, test, and maintain network hardware, software, and monitoring tools
Monitor SolarWinds Orion, respond to alerts, and support routine maintenance and firmware updates
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, access management, and employee support
Help maintain network inventories, documentation, and Visio network diagrams
Participate in network audits, failover testing, and cybersecurity projects
Document work performed and follow, all company policies and safety procedures
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow technical documentation and procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in both office and manufacturing environments
Perform standard computer‑based work, including the ability to lift and move equipment up to 70 lbs. as needed
Comfortable working in server rooms, network closets, and other IT infrastructure spaces when required
