Technical Support Apprentice
SymplyFi is an IT Services company that is currently offering a Technical Support Apprentice position. This role is a part-time work training program for the Level 1 tech support team, where apprentices will gain hands-on experience and have the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position after four months.

Responsibilities
Work part-time onsite, in the office, as scheduled - including weekend shifts
Follow documentation & workflow procedures to troubleshoot, resolve or escalate customer issues
Learn how to successfully troubleshoot and resolve Layer 1, 2 and 3 network connectivity issues
Learn how to successfully troubleshoot and resolve issues with customer end-user devices including POS, Windows/MAC PCs, tablets and VoIP phones
Learn how to successfully monitor customer site status dashboard and proactively respond to outages
Qualification
Required
2 years of general work experience
At least 1 of the following: IT certification (A+, Net+, CCNA etc) and/or successful completion of an IT training program like per Scholas and/or an associates degree in an IT related field
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP & general networking concepts
Strong work ethic and desire to grow your IT knowledge and skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
You must be available on weekends and for 2nd shift (11am to 8pm)
Preferred
Experience working in a restaurant or other retail environment
