Responsibilities
Collaborate on the design and documentation of a variety of projects including tribal government, cultural, education, and healthcare facilities
Produce drawings, specifications, and reports that align with project goals and client expectations
Apply codes and regulations to design solutions while supporting the creation of culturally sensitive, community-informed spaces
Participate in client meetings and design presentations; communicate ideas clearly and respectfully
Contribute to QA/QC processes and collaborate with engineering, interiors, and technical teams
Maintain awareness of schedules, deliverables, and budget implications in your role
Qualification
Required
Degree in Architecture or related design field required
For licensed Architects: A valid architectural license in applicable state
For unlicensed Architects: A degree in architecture or related field and a passion for the profession
8+ years of relevant design experience preferred
Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, technical ability, and community-centered work
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Prior experience with Native American clients or tribal projects is valued but not required
