Corporate Finance Associate (Energy Transition)
King & Sykes is supporting an Energy Infrastructure platform in Atlanta that is looking to hire a Corporate Finance Associate to support strategic finance, M&A, capital markets, and investment analysis initiatives across its energy and infrastructure portfolio. This role involves supporting corporate finance activities, building financial models, and conducting financial analysis for new opportunities.
Responsibilities
Support corporate finance activities including M&A, project financings, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives
Build and maintain detailed financial models (project finance, valuation, cash flow, and scenario analysis)
Assist with capital raising efforts across debt and equity markets
Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and investment evaluation for new opportunities
Prepare materials for internal investment committees, senior management, lenders, and external stakeholders
Work closely with senior leadership, operations, legal, and external advisors
Monitor portfolio performance and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, or related roles
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and capital structures
High attention to detail with strong communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience within Energy, Infrastructure, Power, Renewables, or broader Energy Transition
