International Engagement Analyst

ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. They are seeking an experienced staff action officer to serve as an International Engagement Analyst supporting an Office of the Secretary of Defense client, assisting with relationship-building and achieving outcomes with international allies and partners.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative, logistical, and analytical support for the vetting, prioritization, planning, and execution of international engagements, including the development of plans of actions and milestones, invitations, agendas, senior leader talking points, briefings and information papers, attendance rosters, meeting summaries, and tracking actions
Coordinate with internal and external Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders on all aspects of engagements meetings, including read-ahead development and distribution and foreign engagement protocols
Track and analyze issues and priorities across engagements and coordinate progress with internal and external POCs
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures in accordance with DoD-level requirements
Track metrics and develop methods for improving international engagement processes and outcomes
Maintain forum SharePoint sites and other collaboration tools
Provide similar support to other engagement efforts, e.g., with stakeholders in academia or with industry partners, on an as needed basis
Travel to program required locations as needed. Expected travel is expected to be 5% CONUS and 15% OCONUS

Required

Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in a related (e.g., event planning, project management, business administration, government, international affairs) field. Will consider a high school diploma with and additional 4 years of relevant experience
10 + years of professional experience
Prior experience coordinating events and / or meetings
Prior experience supporting GO/FO/SES clients or similar senior leaders
Experience developing and coordinating tasks in CATMS or similar task management and / or planning tools
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

Preferred

Prior experience supporting clients at the OSD level
Experience with international forums and issues, such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization
Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
