Responsibilities

Own electrical parts and component development for AR wearable devices, with a focus on flexible circuits, rigid PCBs, and small electrical components
Lead end-to-end PCB fabrication efforts, including schematics, layouts, form development, execution, and vendor approval for part fabrication
Drive design releases for flex circuits and multi-layer boards (MLBs) from early concept through production
Collaborate closely with electrical engineers and cross-functional partners to develop flexible and rigid circuit board solutions
Manage SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test, and Pack) builds end-to-end, optimizing for schedule, quality, and yield
Engage directly with APAC contract manufacturers and vendors, ensuring supplier readiness and managing ongoing vendor relationships
Track schedules, gather cross-functional feedback, identify risks, and proactively communicate issues throughout the development lifecycle
Support programs across global time zones, including work outside standard hours as needed to collaborate with APAC partners
Attend regular internal practice community meetings
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, PCB development, or related hardware engineering roles
Direct ownership of design releases for flex circuits and multi-layer boards from early design through production
Proven experience managing SMT and FATP builds end-to-end, including schedule, quality, and yield optimization
Hands-on experience working with APAC contract manufacturers, including flex vendor engagement and supplier readiness
Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams, track schedules, and communicate risks effectively

Preferred

Experience supporting AR wearable or other wearable device development programs
Familiarity with integration of small electrical components in compact or constrained form factors
Knowledge of advanced PCB fabrication techniques, materials, and processes
