Assoc Supply Chain Specialist

The Assoc Supply Chain Specialist will handle the sale of inventory material between regulated and unregulated sides of the business, manage supplier relationships, and ensure material availability for assigned business areas.

Responsibilities
Executes the materials management process for assigned business units
Initiates, negotiates and contracts spot-buys and manages relationship with suppliers
Analyzes responses to simple bid requests, distills commercial differences, and makes succinct recommendations for contract award
Prepares simple materials supply agreements containing standard terms and conditions with little management oversight
Conducts routine negotiations successfully
Negotiates and executes purchase orders and resolves invoice discrepancies
Participates on materials management project teams
Provides market data to support supplier selection, qualification and on-going performance management
Conducts business dealings with integrity and regard for corporate guidelines, legal and environmental regulations
Able to physically receive, issue, warehouse and ship materials as required
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 0+ years
