Responsibilities
Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services
Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, and workflow sequencing
Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel
Conduct workflow analysis; develop models, databases, and spreadsheets for data analysis and metrics
Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, and improve quality
Support execution planning using project management, scheduling, and shop load practices
Provide production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning support
Ensure compliance with industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Industrial Engineering or similar experience (Production/Manufacturing Engineering)
Typically 3+ years of experience
Preferred
Experience with low-volume assembly on large-scale platforms (rotorcraft, military aircraft, or similar)
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
Discrete Event Simulation Software (Simio, ProModel)
Constraint-Based Scheduling Software (Aurora, MS Project)
Job Scheduling and Sequencing
NX/Unigraphics or other 3D CAD tools
APQP and PFMEA
Teamcenter tools (PDM, Process Simulate, Manufacturing Process Planner)
