Responsibilities

Support the assigned business’s Head of Sales to establish consistent execution of sales management and delivery
Drive consistent execution of the Consultative Sales and Service process across the footprint
Provide training and sales tools to appropriate business sales roles to support their achievement of goals, market share capture, and deepening of current customer relationships
Serve as conduit between the field members and marketing, segment, and Product teams to ensure the appropriate level of resources and support
Collaborate with Sales Managers and Product leadership on the delivery of local strategic plans while leveraging best practices
Partner with the assigned business’s Executive Leadership and Sales Managers to define and establish the Sales job family, roles, goals, activities and expected outcomes
Develop and establish the use of appropriate sales tools for use by Sales team members. Work across multiple functional areas to influence program and process improvements that increase sales and revenue results through improved coaching and sales tools
Involvement in the establishment of key reporting metrics, Scorecards, process/protocols, and measurements for each role. Work collaboratively with Executive Leadership, Sales Managers, and sales roles at large to plan and execute customer prospecting, retention, and solution development campaigns
Work with the Head of Sales and leadership to effectively communicate the strategy, goals, roles and shared expected results of the Line of Business
Execute the strategy and business plan of the Line of Business to increase market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Identify and report key metrics that drive the business forward
Involvement in the refinement of Incentive Compensation plan protocols and activities. Establish regular, transparent, and accessible sales effectiveness reporting for the LOB
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback. Develops employees to their fullest potential and provides challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth. Identifies and develops the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning. Recognizes and rewards employees for accomplishments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience
10 years of banking and sales management experience
Previous leadership role in Sales and/or Project Management is a plus
Experience with Data Analysis and Reporting preferred
Demonstrated ability to convert strategic vision into a tactical plan, and to execute on that plan
Strong presence and credibility with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and manage talent. Experience operating successfully in a complex, matrixed organization, driving change through influence
Strong sales performance, employing a holistic, partnership-oriented, solution-based model
Strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

Preferred

Experience with Data Analysis and Reporting preferred
