They are seeking a passionate Data Scientist Intern to design and develop frameworks for analyzing large-scale behavioral datasets and support the development of motion planning architectures for self-driving vehicles.

Responsibilities
Design and develop frameworks and analytical tools for introspection of large-scale behavioral and motion-related datasets
Create effective methods for integrating labeled data into the team’s development pipeline
Support the experimentation of novel motion planning architectures and training paradigms
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing a master's or higher degree in a quantitative fields (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Physics)
Development skills with Python and SQL data analysis libraries and packages
Experience in dealing with large-scale data science problems
Experience with theoretical aspects of data science and machine learning (deep learning, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling)
Experience in building machine learning algorithms and infrastructure, such as: data pre- and post-processing, sampling and curation, ablation studies, evaluation
Understanding of ML workflow: preparing and sampling data, implementation and training of ML models, evaluating results, running ablation studies
Preferred
Leveraging statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to derive data insights
Experience with PyTorch or other ML frameworks
Build or manage infrastructure, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Experience with temporal/sequential and/or spatial data
Experience in self-driving challenges (Perception, Prediction, Mapping, Localization, Planning, Simulation)
Experience with topics such as embeddings, clustering, anomaly detection, and similarity search
Experience with distributed and cloud computing/training platforms
