2026-2027 Yearlong CTA Board Office Intern
Chicago Transit Authority is the second largest transit system in the country! Our college internship program offers valuable work experience, professional development, and mentorship to students. Interns will assist with onboarding materials, provide support for Board meetings, and analyze internal processes for the CTA Board.

Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and distribution of onboarding and orientation materials for Board members
Provide monthly on-site support and updates for all Board meetings, Citizens Advisory Board Meetings, and public hearings
Document and analyze impact of internal processes and present findings to the CTA Board
Qualification
Required
Full-time enrollment status in a degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Good organizational skills with attention to detail
Good project management skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint
The demands associated with the normal office environment
Must be able to comply with office policy to work on-site twice per week
Light physical activity, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs
Preferred
Political Science, Business management, Computer science, Library Science as preferred majors
College sophomore and above as preferred level of education
