Responsibilities
Compile product and packaging inventories across multiple business lines
Collect material data and compliance documentation from suppliers
Verify packaging materials for restricted substances
Ensure alignment with EU PPWR and related regulatory requirements
Work directly with suppliers to communicate packaging requirements
Represent the client during supplier and manufacturing site interactions
Travel to supplier and manufacturing sites to verify packaging compliance
Design and modify product-specific packaging for global shipment
Select packaging materials in compliance with regulatory and transport needs
Plan and execute packaging tests
Enter, maintain, and audit packaging documentation in SAP and PLM systems
Prepare and manage compliance records using Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Packaging, or Industrial Engineering
2+ years of professional experience (no new graduates)
Manufacturing environment experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Direct experience working with supplier vendors
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
Knowledge of EU regulations (PPWR, RoHS, EU Machinery Directive/Regulation)
Sustainability and circularity experience in packaging or logistics
NX / Teamcenter or other CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Pro/E)
SAP experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience with large-scale or industrial packaging
Basic welding or welding symbol knowledge
