Metasys Technologies is seeking experienced Tax professionals to join their growing Las Vegas practice. The Tax Manager role is ideal for a CPA-credentialed professional who excels in client service, complex tax engagements, and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and exempt organizations
Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients across a variety of industries
Oversee engagement workflows, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
Research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and guidance; prepare technical memos and recommendations
Lead, mentor, and develop staff and seniors through coaching, training, and performance feedback
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering excellent service
Identify opportunities for process improvements, value-added services, and firm growth
Ensure compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations

Qualification

Active CPA licenseTax software proficiencyFederal tax regulationsClient relationship managementAnalytical skillsManage prioritiesCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Active CPA license required for Manager & Partner
CPA-eligible candidates encouraged to apply for Experienced Staff
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–7+ years of progressively responsible public accounting tax experience (for Manager)
Strong knowledge of federal and multistate tax regulations
Experience managing client relationships and supervising staff (Manager/Partner)
Proficiency with tax software and research tools
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred

Master's in Taxation preferred
