Master Plumber

Responsibilities

Lead complex plumbing installations, including advanced piping systems, fixtures, and appliances, for modular homes
Conduct quality control checks to ensure plumbing systems meet design specifications, industry standards, and code requirements
Train and mentor Entry- and Mid-Level Plumbers, providing guidance on installation techniques, safety practices, and code compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced plumbing issues, ensuring system reliability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes (e.g., IPC), safety standards, and industry regulations, including supporting/overseeing inspections as needed
Read and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to guide plumbing planning and execution
Collaborate with production teams to align plumbing work with project goals, sequencing, and schedules
Lead process improvements to enhance plumbing system efficiency, safety, and quality outcomes

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
7+ years of plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (manufacturing or construction preferred)
8,500 hours of documented practical experience per Colorado DORA requirements (as provided)
Master Plumber license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) (required)
Expert proficiency installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex plumbing systems
Advanced knowledge of plumbing codes (e.g., IPC), safety regulations, and industry standards
Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
Exceptional leadership and mentoring capability; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Advanced training or degree in plumbing or a related field
OSHA safety training
Additional certifications (e.g., ASSE Backflow Prevention)
