Responsibilities

Develop learners' skills in safety, compliance, and operations and maintenance tasks through technical training using pre-developed materials and personal expertise
Facilitate hands-on and classroom training to build employee skills and reinforce technical and compliance knowledge through interactive activities and assessments
Assess employees' on-the-job skills to ensure safe and effective application, contributing to a collaborative team environment
Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to align training with workforce needs and escalate unresolved issues
Provide technical support to address learning gaps and assist in resolving equipment-related challenges
Contribute to the development of competency-based materials and mentor instructional staff
Participate in train-the-trainer programs and maintain accurate training records in the LMS

Required

High School Diploma or GED with seven (7) years of experience in training or leading teams in a relevant field, OR
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of directly related work experience
Technical competence equivalent to an experienced operator or mechanical tradesperson/journeyman
Proven computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office and Windows
Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills
Demonstrated passion for developing others and willingness to learn
Ability to follow and apply company policies and procedures
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions in English
Ability to communicate in English regarding job assignments, procedures, and safety standards

Preferred

Experience in adult education or corporate training
Experience in mining or industrial environments
Familiarity with MSHA/OSHA standards
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Experience mentoring/coaching in field environments
Familiarity with competency-based training models
MSHA Blue Card certification
Industrial mechanical/maintenance experience
HDPE piping/fusing and MIG, Stick, and TIG welding experience
Experience with pump maintenance and replacement
Strong people and communication skills
Able and willing to travel domestically up to 75% of the time or as business requires
Valid and active drivers license, along with Real ID for airplane travel
