Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects, including virtualization, storage, and identity management solutions
Provide support for end-user technology issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems
Participate in configuration and deployment of cloud services and virtual desktop environments
Collaborate with senior engineers on projects involving VMware, NetApp, Intune, Okta, Windows, and macOS platforms
Monitor system performance and assist in proactive maintenance tasks
Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing
Support IT security initiatives, including identity and access management and compliance checks
Contribute to automation efforts using scripting tools (PowerShell) for routine tasks
Participate in team meetings and provide input on improving operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Working towards a degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of end-user technologies and both on-premises and cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as VMware, NetApp, Intune, Okta, and operating systems (Windows and macOS)
Experience or coursework related to cloud infrastructure services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and virtual desktop solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Able to work the complete summer break (May - August or June - September)
Preferred
Exposure to IT security principles and best practices is an asset
