Market Manager
Valvoline Inc. is seeking a Market Manager to maximize the profitability of their Valvoline Instant Oil Change market. The Market Manager will develop a team to deliver a preferred customer experience and oversee the performance of Service Centers across multiple Areas.

Responsibilities
Build a high-performance team capable of differentiating VIOC's service experience from all other service providers. Identifying talent and teaching Area Managers to build, manage, and motivate a highly successful team while reducing turnover. Lead succession planning and employee development to ensure all locations have bench strength and high-performing employees
Lead deployment of Super-Pro operating system and processes in VIOC, including: A) Assessing and creating performance and measurement targets through needs analysis. B) Manage and implement training systems (make improvement recommendations for process redesign as needed). C) Provide process expertise, instruction, and support (serve as the process expert, instruct in process technique, provide support for problem-solving, deploy support for problem-solving, act as a resource). D) Monitor the effectiveness of the process within the organization (relate the process to organizational strategy, manage interfaces with other processes, obtain needed resources, lobby for process goals, drive major change when needed, and assist in conflict resolution)
Monitor key performance indicators (same-store sales growth, customer and EE OSAT, labor, product costs, expenses, etc., for adverse changes and take corrective action when required, conflict resolution). Recommend and implement revisions in the structure, systems, or services of VIOC's company-operated system, as necessary, to take strategic advantage of changes in the competitive environment
Establish operational goals for each direct report, including profit, OSAT (customer experience), service failures, and safety. Write and implement programs to assist in meeting these goals
Write, approve, and oversee the implementation of development plans, including improvement or closure of poor-performing service centers, new center build-out, entry into new markets, and acquisitions as appropriate. Assist in approving changes in standard building designs
Direct the implementation of training programs for service center personnel, including both technical and business training. Assist in approving and implementing in-store operating procedures. Ensure that information systems for company stores are both effective and efficient
Audit and implement EH&S initiatives
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (work experience may replace formal education)
Minimum of 3-5 years of multi-unit retail management experience with a demonstrated track record of success in building teams and financial metrics that meet or exceed expectations
SuperPro training through SCM role
Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Company and its insurers, subject to verification by the Company at its discretion
