Responsibilities

Develop and continuously improve responsible end markets for hard-to-recycle categories to maximize recovery value for Target and achieve diversion rate goals
Develop the vendor ecosystem strategy across collectors/haulers, aggregators, sorters, pre-processors, recyclers, and end-users—selecting partners that improve both diversion and financial return
Analyze assortment strategy at a category and retail level and adjust performance to drive optimal recovery rates by channel
Own monthly business performance, driving monthly performance to goal and developing action plans to achieve financial & diversion performance
Partner closely with Reverse Operations and Vendors to support daily business operations
Identifying emerging disposition opportunities by developing business requirements and drive the strategy for continuous improvement across existing nodes

Required

4-year degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of relevant experience such as Supply Chain/Inventory Management, Merchandising, or Planning
Flexibility, resilient and comfortable working in 'grey areas' that are constantly changing
Strategic and analytical skills to innovate and grow a business beyond the status quo
Ability to collaborate and influence without authority to leaders and peers using data and insights
Ability to balance both short and long term priorities and re-prioritize as needed
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver financial metrics and leverage reporting, tools and systems to drive the business forward
