Senior LevelAscension Search Partners is partnered with a rapidly scaling, private equity–backed manufacturing platform seeking a hands-on and strategic Corporate Controller following major growth and transformation. The Corporate Controller will build and scale a world-class accounting function, strengthen controls and governance, and play a key role in IPO readiness.

Responsibilities
Lead development of a scalable, public‑company‑ready accounting organization
Oversee audits, technical accounting, financial reporting, and IPO preparation
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close; ensure GAAP accuracy
Implement and optimize accounting systems and SOX‑ready controls
Partner with cross‑functional leaders and external advisors
Support forecasting, modeling, and board‑level reporting
Qualification
Required
Strong technical foundation; CPA and Big 4/public accounting is required
Experienced Controller or senior accounting leader in high‑growth environments
Exposure to SEC reporting, SOX, or IPO readiness
Proven ability to build processes, systems, and governance frameworks
Interest in manufacturing or industrial sectors
