Responsibilities
Supports monitoring of accounts for indicators of unusual or suspicious activity, using automated Transaction Monitoring System (Verafin)
Supports suspicious activity alert reviews and case investigations, recommending when activity warrants the filing of a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR)
Supports compliance with 314(a) and 314(b) (PATRIOT Act) information sharing responsibilities
Assists in the preparation and submission of all Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) within required timeframe
Researches, resolves and conducts AML investigations on alerts within the system
Reviews OFAC failed transactions concerning ACH or Wire activity and review out of pattern activity
Supports reviews of customer accounts to comply with CDD/EDD program requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or four years related experience required
Two years of experience in financial services, compliance or similar role required
Preferred
Demonstrated interest in BSA/AML & OFAC compliance (industry certifications such as ACAMS, CAFP, or other financial crimes-related certifications a plus)
Experience with Verafin (BSA/AML) a plus
