Talent Acquisition Specialist

Proven IT is a company focused on building talent pipelines and enhancing the candidate experience. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to execute full-cycle hiring processes, support onboarding, and collaborate with hiring managers to refine recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

Draft and update job descriptions for open roles
Post job openings across job boards and recruiting platforms
Screen applications, coordinate 60- & 90-day check-ins and follow-ups
Conduct video screens and in-person interviews; handle candidate communication
Familiarity with modern sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, social media, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Send onboarding emails and coordinate pre-hire screenings
Support onboarding logistics and build long-term candidate pipelines
Coordinate scheduling for all interviews with candidates and hiring teams
Collaborate with leadership to refine recruitment processes and candidate experience
Represent the company at job fairs and build academic partnerships
Assist with HR event coordination
Additional duties as assigned

Required

Strong presentation and communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and candidate relationship management (CRM/ATS) tools
Team-oriented but capable of working independently
Creative problem solver with a proactive approach to talent challenges
Strong commitment to building a positive candidate experience and strong employer brand
Understanding employment laws and best hiring practices
Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation
Prolonged computer and desk-based work
Frequent use of hands and arms for typing, filing, and handling materials
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs for print materials or welcome kits

Preferred

1–3 years of recruiting experience preferred; IT or sales recruiting is a plus
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred
