Responsibilities

Handle legislative, regulatory, market, and statistical research requests
Provide data for internal publications, training materials, seminars, and client-facing content
Conduct SEC-related research, including current and historical filings, precedent language, and agreement review
Perform corporate and transactional research on companies, individuals, governance matters, and deal activity
Support litigation research by locating dockets, pleadings, filings, and case materials
Manage alerts and monitoring for filings, news, dockets, and other updates
Coordinate with third-party research vendors to ensure quality and confidentiality
Assist with onboarding and training for new attorneys and paralegals
Evaluate research tools and resources and recommend improvements

Qualification

Master’s in Library ScienceResearch experienceDatabase research skillsAdvanced Excel proficiencyClear communicationClient-service mindsetPrioritizeAttention to detail

Required

Master's in Library Science required
3+ years of research experience in a large law firm or financial services environment
Strong database research skills (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg, PACER, Capital IQ, FactSet, Intelligize, Refinitiv, and similar tools)
Advanced proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple requests under tight deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication and a strong client-service mindset
Must be open to working the defined shift as scheduled
