Finance Intern
Thomson Reuters is a global company that uses data and insights to address critical threats and emerging risks. They are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to support financial analysis and modeling efforts on projects related to U.S. government and national security missions.

Responsibilities
Complete ad-hoc, analysis-based requests in an efficient and timely manner
Investigate, analyze, and report on areas of interest to the finance and strategy teams as directed
Communicate findings through written and oral presentation
Interact with multiple teams in a corporate setting
Work with a team of mentors to cultivate a positive internship experience
Qualification
Required
Ability to work in our McLean, VA office Tuesday-Thursday
Currently enrolled in a business, finance, or accounting related 4-year degree program
Minimum overall GPA of 3.2
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, with a focus on Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to develop formal presentations in a professional manner
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
At least 18 years old and meet the same employment standards as permanent employees
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
