Responsibilities
Support new hardware and board bring-up activities, including execution and debugging of hardware validation tests
Diagnose, isolate, and identify root causes of hardware and schematic-related issues, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as RF and Software test/tools teams
Perform power measurement and characterization on hardware boards; program and monitor power rails through schematic review and inspection
Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and clearly identify and document issues and observations
Effectively multitask under tight deadlines and adapt quickly in a fast-paced development environment
Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity, safety, and high-quality standards
Develop and maintain scripts to automate test suites, improving test efficiency and reducing debug cycle time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in mobile device testing
Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, NI power instruments, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector/network analyzers
Working knowledge of RF measurements including P1dB, IIP, Noise Figure (NF), and S-parameter measurements
Basic understanding of RF receiver architectures and system blocks, with the ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and PCB layouts
Willingness to provide on-call support and assist with tasks during evenings, as required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with Python programming for test automation
