Responsibilities

Implement and monitor production inspection plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly & test, engineering procedures and first article inspection plans
Maintain compliance with contractual changes related to quality
Perform routine technical tasks such as product/process improvement studies, and the development of new systems and procedures
Assist in the administration of training certifications for site personnel and in the training and assessment of functional groups in the areas of quality requirements and other Quality related subjects
Apply basic problem-solving techniques to assist in the resolution of fabrication, and field related problems
Collecting and analyzing data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
Frequent personal contact with customers and teams require critical interpersonal skills, writing skills, tact, and persuasiveness
Support on-site customer inspections
Implementing of statistical process control plans, writing of failure analysis reports, performing preliminary material review, providing customer interface, audit support, configuration control activities, traceability documentation, returned unit support, and contamination control activities

Required

Associate's degree in engineering/ analytical/ scientific or similar STEM is required and 0-3 years of experience
Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Background in statistical methods to develop unique solutions to continuous improvement and process monitoring
Experience in reading engineering drawings or equivalent, using precision measuring equipment, and working with various quality standards
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
Experience writing and tracking nonconformances and correct actions
Familiar with AS9100 specifications
