Community Crisis Center Program Manager - COMCARE
Sedgwick County Government is responsible for providing various community services, and they are seeking a Community Crisis Center Program Manager. This role involves clinical and administrative oversight of program staff, ensuring the delivery of necessary services to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders, and participating in program planning and development.

Responsibilities
Ensures access standards for all services are met and patients receive timely services
Coordinates referrals to on-going treatment services to ensure patients determined eligible for services are promptly assigned and engaged in treatment
Monitors program census to ensure adequate program resources are available to meet the identified community needs, including timely discharge of patients
Ensures program patients have treatment plans for all services
Monitors cooperative agreements, grants, and/or contracts with affiliate agencies and other entities
Monitors customer satisfaction with program and services
Ensures technical competency of staff by providing consultation and training
Identifies appropriate program outcomes targeted at helping individuals with mental health problems
Develops and adapts based on changing environments, a plan of work for the program to ensure successful achievement of patient outcomes, implementation of agency strategic plan, program development, and continuous quality improvement
Maintains knowledge of best practices in the field of mental health and substance use treatment
Identifies gaps in services and develops proposals for meeting identified needs
Monitors potential barriers to treatment and develops strategies for reducing barriers and ensuring access to needed services
Develops responses to Requests for Proposals and grants as requested
Provides oversight and supervision to Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) staff
Ensures that the program is adequately staffed at all times by completing vacancy notices, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and submitting potential hires to personnel manager for processing
Delegate or provide coverage for absent team members
Responsible for the clinical and technical competence of program staff
Monitors personnel management activities for staff on Performance Improvement Plans
Meets with assigned staff and maintains documentation regarding the content of the supervisory conference
Qualification
Required
Two (2) years of supervisory experience
Master's degree or higher
Must be licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LMSW, LMFT, LMLP, LPC, or LP
Employees hired with a temporary license must test for permanent licensure within 90 days of hire
Valid US driver's license without restrictions
Current proof of automobile insurance
Access to personal passenger vehicle to complete the driving duties of the position
Meet the specifications as outlined in the CMHC, CCBHC, and CIC licensing standards
Pass KBI, DCF child abuse check, DCF adult abuse registry, KDADS Nurse Aide and Criminal Record check, National Sex Offender Registry check, Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusion Database check, and motor vehicle screens
Complete all required COMCARE, CCBHC, and CIC training courses, including but not limited to safety intervention, de-escalation, confidentiality, patient rights, and emergency procedures
Maintain documentation of competency and completion as required by agency and state standards
Preferred
Five (5) years of supervisory experience
May be clinically licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LCP, LCPC, LCMFT, or LSCSW
